This is a great day for Renaud fans, the first part of his new album, whose release is scheduled for November 29, is unveiled on Wednesday. The single is called Les Animals, like what young children might say. Even though his album, "The Kids and Kids First" is not so much for kids, but will talk about childhood. To illustrate this record, Renaud called the singer Zep, who crunched it for the cover in marinière and santiags. "I admit that to create the little character, the Renaud kid, and put it in a lot of situations, it amused me," says the designer.
A "family" work
On the album, we also find Romane Serda, the former wife of Renaud, and Renan Luce, his former son-in-law, who composed three titles. The latter is very attached to the singer and this new record: "I note two things, his look on childhood that I find very beautiful, but also the pleasure of finding his voice as it is today, quite crude. I like how he worked on this album, a lot at home with his musicians coming in. There's something very family-friendly in the way they've worked, "he says.

"Kids and children first" will be pressed in 300,000 copies. Renaud had sold 700,000 records of his latest album, released in 2016.
