The recording of the new chapters of The Ministry of Time, the series produced by RTVE in collaboration with Globomedia (The Mediapro Studio) and Onza Partners has just begun, as producers have announced on Tuesday. "By the hand of Javier Olivares and Marc Vigil , the fourth season is built on the traditional mix of fantastic genre, adventure and history that has characterized the series," notes the note.

Julián ( Rodolfo Sancho ), Amelia ( Aura Garrido ), Pacino ( Hugo Silva ), Alonso ( Nacho Fresneda ) and Lola ( Macarena García ) return to Salvador ( Jaime Blanch ), Irene ( Cayetana Guillén Cuervo ) and Ernesto ( Juan Gea ) with a mission: that the past does not change.

All of them and other usual faces of the series, Angustias ( Francesca Piñón ), Velázquez ( Julián Villagrán ) or Elena ( Susana Córdoba ), will return to work to detect and correct any fatal alteration in the course of history.

Through the Ministry of time, great figures and characters who have been forgotten and anonymous are successful; recovers the role of women in history, and in the next season it stands as a pop series that will travel to times as diverse as the 80s of the Labyrinth of passions of Almodóvar or the Golden Age of a young Philip II.

A team of scriptwriters composed of Jordi Calafí , Isabel Sánchez , Daniel Corpas , Carolina González and Pablo Lara , work on the historical moments and characters that will fill the new chapters.

The ministry of time premiered on La 1 on February 24, 2015. Thirty-four chapters and three seasons later the RTVE series has become a cult phenomenon backed by critics and the public.

More than twenty prestigious awards, including international awards such as Best Latin American TV Series at the 2018 Platinum Awards, best director at the Gold Panda Awards or the bronze medal at the New York International Festival. Among the nationals, two Ondas Awards for the best Spanish series stand out (in 2016 and 2015); four Feroz awards; three Silver Frames; Six Actors Union Awards; three other MiM Awards; and six Iris Awards, among others.
