Luc Lang's novel opens on a scene in suspense: a man armed with a rifle pointed at a deer. It is a hunter who admits to love stalking and the power to kill. Yet that day, he hesitates, wounds the animal and ends up taking him to his car to heal.

What happened ? Why did he go so radically from death to life? With this surprising starting point, the writer sets the tone of his fiction that tells how the world can rock in a second and how a person can become aware of the violence.

apocalyptic

After a dozen books, including Thousand six hundred bellies rewarded by the Goncourt high school students, Luc Lang proposes a novel at once very realistic, very contemporary, but also very Biblical with this idea of an apocalypse to come and bestiality present in every human being.
