Experts in the company "Kaspersky" specialized in information security announced the discovery of a serious software vulnerability in some versions of the famous Chrome browser from Google.

Experts note that the vulnerability, codenamed CVE-2019-13720 or zero-day, could allow hackers to deliver malicious JavaScript code to computers, and exploit the browser to access and use computer data for personal purposes.

Kaspersky's information security expert, Anton Ivanov, said the discovery of the "zero-day" vulnerability in the Chrome browser and its handling and alerted by Google is evidence of cooperation in the information security community and software developers, and continued investment in malware prevention technologies.

He explained that Google has responded to the recommendations of experts in the "Kaspersky" and launched emergency security updates to fix the vulnerability, and to prevent the dangers of this vulnerability advises technical experts to follow several steps, first make sure to download the emergency update launched by Google to fix it, and make sure to update all the software that will detect the vulnerabilities the wish.

It is also advised to abandon the old versions of Chrome and download version 72.0.3626.121 in which Google corrected its browser software, and download reliable and well-known anti-virus software and detect its effects on computers.
