Turkish authorities arrested the sister of former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in northern Syria and were transferred to a Turkish detention center.

Sky News quoted a Turkish official that "Baghdadi's sister was accompanied by her husband and the wife of her son, who are currently being questioned by Turkey."

"Rasmia Awad was arrested when a container was raided near Azaz. We hope to draw valuable information from Baghdadi's sister about working inside ISIS," he said.

He continued: "Baghdadi's sister was transferred to a Turkish detention center."
