LONDON (Reuters) - Former Russian beauty queen Oksana Vovodina has published pictures of her baby after her divorce from former King of Malaysia Sultan Mohammed V, in an attempt to show similarities between him and his father, according to a report published by the British website "Daily Mail".


According to the report, 27-year-old Vovodina attached a comment to the picture saying, "This is our prince," highlighting the great similarity between the features of five-month-old Ismail Lyon and Sultan Mehmet V, the man the beauty queen confirms is the father of. “The child is like his father.


Sources close to Sultan Mehmet V talked for the first time about the demands of his ex-wife, described as astronomical, where Vovodina is seeking an apartment costing 1.2 million pounds (about 1.5 million US dollars) in Moscow and another in London worth 8 million pounds. (£ 10 million), plus a monthly fee of £ 24,000 ($ 29.5,000) to cover their son's expenses.


The sources also said that Sultan Mohammed V had given Vovodina a wedding ring, believed to be worth up to 203 thousand pounds (about 250 thousand dollars), and bought her a car priced in Russia up to 117,500 pounds and 145 thousand dollars.

The former Miss Moscow married the 49-year-old Sultan in a secret ceremony in the Malaysian state of Kelantan on June 7 last year.

The wedding was followed by a reception in Moscow in December in which they announced their marriage to the world, stepping down from the throne in November last year.
