That a new "Diablo" was under development has been teased and teased for a long time. When a German gaming magazine included an ad for a new book that included works from, among others, "Diablo 4", many gamblers took it as confirmation that it was soon time to slaughter monsters in caves again.

And at the developer Blizzard's own fair Blizzcon this weekend came the confirmation - and it somewhat more surprising that "Diablo 4" was also playable as a demo on the exhibition floor.

Three classes were presented; a strength-based barbarian, a magical witch, and the port-changing druid, who can become a werewolf or a "war bear".

The game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PS4, which is gossiping that it will probably be released next year.

Nor was it particularly unexpected that the online slider game "Overwatch" will receive a sequel. Players can count on new maps, new heroes, story-based missions and collaborative modes, and it will be possible to move on the appearance characteristics and progress that players have made from one. One of the new maps is called "Gothenburg" and will partly be developed by people from the Swedish city.

Incidentally, Blizzard revealed that the "World of warcrafts" next expansion is called "Shadowlands" where the kingdom of the dead will be explored. It will be released on New Year's Eve next year.

The last major news Blizzcon offered was an expansion to the card game "Hearthstone", named "Descent of dragons", which contains 135 new cards.
