Dog Day Event to interact with Kishu Dog at Wakayama Castle November 1 15:39

This event was the first time that Wakayama City was held to coincide with “Inu no O Day” so that many people would know about Kishu Dog.

Kishu dogs are medium-sized dogs that have been bred for hunting in Wakayama and Mie prefectures for a long time. They are often used as guard dogs and are designated as national natural monuments.

Kishu dog sisters “Yuzuki” and “Yuzume” bred at the zoo of Wakayama Castle Park participated in the event, and their heads were stroked by tourists and children who went on excursions, and a commemorative photo taken together I was doing.
