A man from Croatia got a Guinness World Record for having the longest human tooth, measuring 1.46 inches (3.72 cm).

The man extracted the tooth last September after complaining of severe dental pain, according to the site "Mirror" Britain.

His doctor was shocked by his longevity and described his age as "unreasonable" after X-rays revealed his amazing length.

The tooth had to be removed immediately because it was not possible to find any other treatment for the man.

Guinness World Records has now confirmed that the man has the longest extracted human tooth 3.72 cm (1.46 in) long.
