The story will be about the everyday life of the TV hosts of the rating morning program. After 15 years of a successful career, lead Mitch Kessler (Carell) is fired due to harassment charges (as the media note, against the backdrop of the #MeToo movement). Kessler’s colleague Alex (Aniston) is not doing very well either - the ambitious journalist Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) claims to be her place.

The series was staged by Emmy Award winner Mimi Leder, and producers included one of the showrunners of Bates Motel Kerry Erin. The project scenario is based on the book of American journalist Brian Stelter Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

The scriptwriter and showrunner of the project was the director of Iron Man and the photorealistic remake of The Lion King John Favreau. In one of the interviews, Favreau noted that while working on the script he tried to maintain the scale of the first films of the saga, so that “Mandalorets” turned out to be similar to them.

The chronology of the events of the series covers the period between the sixth and seventh episodes of Star Wars. The plot is built around one of the Mandalorians - a representative of the mercenary caste. The hero lives in a distant edge of the galaxy, which is not covered by the laws of the New Republic.

The cast of the Hollywood blockbuster corresponds to the cast: in addition to the star of “Game of Thrones” Pedro Pascal, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolty are involved in the series.

The hero of Cyril Kyaro decides to wait out the threat in the north, near a lake called Wongozero. He will go there not alone, but with his neighbors and family (or rather two - the old and the new).

The premiere of the eight-series project took place in April in Cannes - at the CannesSeries Film Festival. Then the story, shot by the best-selling writer Jana Wagner's Wongozero, was shown in a stripped-down format (a 90-minute full-length movie) at the Moscow Film Festival. Picture “The epidemic.
