“The opening of the monument to Nikolai Petrovich Karachentsov will take place on October 27, on his birthday,” he said, adding that the event is scheduled for 15:00.
According to him, the monument is made of black granite, on which a drawing is applied, recreating one of the main scenes of the play "Juno and Avos."
Nikolai Karachentsov died on October 26, 2018 at the age of 73 years in one of the capital's hospitals.
