The Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) has unveiled the agenda of the Educational Publishing Forum, which is being organized for the first time in the UAE, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the International Publishers Association, over the next two days at Sharjah Publishing City.

The forum, which will include seven interactive sessions, will discuss ways of cooperation between UAE publishers, the Ministry of Education and teachers, and the preparation of a five-year plan to develop a national educational publishing system that contributes to the advancement of national curricula, and supports the comprehensive development process based on the UAE science, knowledge and heritage To achieve the Ministry of Education's strategy to build and manage an innovative educational system for a global knowledge society. More than 22 spokespersons from local and international officials, experts and professionals, as well as 20 distinguished teachers, will participate in the event. The event seeks to develop a five-year roadmap (implemented over five years) to transform the educational publishing sector in the UAE into a sector that supports the aspirations of the Ministry of Education. , Within a specific timetable and mutually agreed targets.

President of the International Publishers Association, Hugo Sitzer, said that the Forum, organized by the Federation for years, emphasizes the importance of cooperation between publishers, teachers and government agencies, as part of the process of developing the best local curricula and educational solutions used by teachers.
