INFO EUROPE 1

No less than 162 works by Leonardo da Vinci, who died just 500 years ago, have been on display since Thursday at the Louvre Museum. This is the largest retrospective ever organized for the genius of the Renaissance. And the success is already there: already more than 330,000 bookings have already been made, according to the latest information sent by the Louvre to Europe 1.

The retrospective offers the unique opportunity to admire ten paintings by the master of the Renaissance (eleven taking into account the Mona Lisa, jewel of the collections of the Louvre) while only twenty paintings in the world are attributed by the specialists at Vinci. Among them, "The Holy Anne", "St. John the Baptist" and the "Madonna Benois", lent by the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. The visitor can even fly over the Jonconde in 3D with a virtual reality helmet.
