Iwakuni Base Noise Litigation Compensation Ordered but Flying Inhibited Hiroshima High Court Oct. 25 14:41
In a trial in which residents around Iwakuni base in Yamaguchi Prefecture complained of noise damage from US military aircraft, the 2nd trial of the Hiroshima High Court was over 730 million yen, approximately 170 million yen higher than the 1st trial. He ordered the country to compensate. On the other hand, the injunction on the flight of American military aircraft and SDF aircraft that residents had requested was not allowed following the first trial.
