Zombieland: Control Shot (Zombieland: Double Tap)

Ten years ago, the comedy horror "Welcome to Zombieland" was released, shot for $ 23.6 million and earned at the box office $ 102.4 million. Then Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin performed the roles of the lucky survivors of the invasion of living the dead.

In fact, right after the extremely successful release, screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese said they were interested in developing the sequel. The script of the tape “Zombieland: A Control Shot” was completed by 2017, and in 2018 Sony Pictures gave the project a green light.

This time, along with the quartet already familiar to the audience, the zombies will be opposed by Zoe Deutsch, Luke Wilson and Rosario Dawson.

In the story, Little Rock (Breslin) leaves the team and is nailed to a group of pacifists who, in the conditions of the zombie invasion, refused weapons. Columbus, Tallahassee and Wichita intend to return Little Rock, as it has become even more difficult to fight the evolved zombies.

Then the guard played Bykov himself (already dissatisfied with his work).

“There was simply no time to replace him. I believe that this is not the smartest act, I had no desire to do it myself, but in three days I would not find an actor who would be immersed in the material, ”the director noted in an interview with the movie distributor’s newsletter.
