According to the private Hikone General High School in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, school rules have been established for at least 10 years before going to the toilet before 25 minutes have passed since the start of the regular exam.

One student was absent from the school this year, but it was considered that credits could be earned for repairs and submission of assignment reports.
“The purpose was to prevent cheating and focus on the exam, but I would like to consider the human rights of the students in the future,” said the principal of Hikone General High School.
