Miss Yemen 2016, Areej Al Sayyed, failed to enter the Miss World Pageant 2019 because she was unable to obtain a visa to America.
She denied her visa to participate in the Miss World contest as the first Yemeni girl, while expressing her hope to participate next year.
In 2016, Areej El Sayed received the title of “Miss Yemen” in the competition held in Egypt, and represented her country in a number of Arab activities and events, before heading to sing recently.
