- For me, Bengt Feldreich was a role model. He was knowledgeable, allowed himself to be objective without being boring. This expertise can actually be both enterprising and entertaining. I think he represented that, says Henrik Ekman to the Culture News.

Henrik Ekman worked with Bengt Feldreich several times. When he made programs on the moon landing and the history of television, Bengt Feldreich shared and shared his knowledge:

- He was a classic television journalist, it was no nonsense but he was very friendly at the same time. You felt respected and you were welcomed by him, he says.

Got a job on TV in 1955

Bengt Feldreich got a job on television as early as 1955, and remained at SVT for over 30 years. Perhaps best known to the younger generation, he is perhaps the voice of Benjamin in the classic Christmas program "Kalle Duck and his friends wish Merry Christmas".

But Bengt Feldreich could lead as well entertainment-focused programs as more serious ones. These include programs such as "Get rid of or double - the ten thousand crown question" and not least "Please speculate".

And Henrik Ekman just emphasizes Bengt Feldreich's breadth as a program manager and TV profile:

- Since he had such a breadth, he was able, year after year, to carry out Snillen speculates where he interviewed the Nobel laureates. After all, that program took over the BBC, and then somebody from the BBC was required - but you have to remember that Bengt Feldreich ran it for many years, says Henrik Ekman.
