Artist Ahmed Makki mourned his father who passed away today and asked his audience to pray for his mercy and forgiveness.
Makki wrote through his account on the site «Facebook»: «Oh God have mercy on my father and enter mercy roomy paradise, Rahman, merciful».
Many Egyptian artists were keen to support Mekki, who only announced his father's death hours ago.
A large number of stars, including Amir Karara, Ahmed El Sakka, Karim Abdel Aziz, Bayoumi Fouad, Ali Rabie, Mouzein Ahmed Mekki, and his supporters, wrote in support of his father's departure, calling on the deceased to show mercy.
