"We are completely taken by Elda and Amelia's fascinating and epic story about the poor Italian housekeeper and her daughter, who became one of Sweden's most powerful and controversial newspaper makers," Christina and Peter Birro said in a press release.
Christina Birro is a journalist and producer, she runs the critically acclaimed podcast "Pop culture confidential". Peter Birro is one of Sweden's most prominent screenwriters and was most recently updated with the script for the movie "438 days".
"Elda and Amelia" is produced by Naima Abed and Emilie Georges, who previously produced films such as "Call me by your name".
Amelia Adamo is concerned about Christina and Peter Birro's film plans.
“I don't go around thinking my life is a movie. But have actually said several times that my life is a great story. I am of course both proud and flattered, but most affected. Affected that Peter and Christina saw the Italian mother band, strong, angry but always loyal, ”says Amelia Adamo.
