A Chinese woman has been deprived of the ability to close her eyes fully during her sleep, after a failed cosmetic operation of her eyelids.

She had plastic surgery for the eyelids to make her eyes look bigger, but was not satisfied with the results in the first operation so she asked the clinic for another surgical intervention and make the effect of the double eyelid more visible.

The results of the second operation were not good at all, as her eyelids worsened, she could no longer close her eyes, which the clinic that conducted the operation explained that it was very close between the two operations, which made the scars of both overlap.

The woman spent about 13,000 yuan (about 2,500 US dollars).

The clinic offered her a third operation while stressing that the Chinese woman would be able to close her eyes soon after the wounds healed permanently, but she refused and insisted on a legal settlement under which she received $ 5,000.
