On Monday, Brigitte Macron returns to her teaching clothes: she reads the dictation of the European association against leukodystrophy (ELA) in a Parisian college. One of his former students was invited to Europe 1 to discuss which teacher was the First Lady.

TESTIMONIAL EUROPE 1

Brigitte Macron is on all fronts. Every week, she chairs the educational committee of a school for adults without graduates, she has just succeeded Bernadette Chirac at the head of the operation yellow coins and it is Monday in front of a class of 6th to read the dictation of the ELA association (European association against leukodystrophies, rare genetic diseases). "I had the memory of a person charismatic, dynamic, rock'n'roll, in his way of being, to dress and to animate his courses", tells the microphone of Europe 1 one of his alumni at Lycée La Providence in Amiens, Thomas Martin. "She knew how to make text studies interesting."

"It's thanks to her that I improved my spelling"

The 32-year-old architect, who works at the same school as head of state Emmanuel Macron, admits that the First Lady played a big role in her spelling. "I was a bit limited in spelling," says the guest. "It's thanks to her that I made efforts and that I improved."

Thomas Martin also took the opportunity to come back on the accession of Emmanuel Macron to the presidency of the Republic. "My older sister was with him in class," he says. "I was not surprised by this evolution, we knew it was someone promising."
