Here Fatboy Slim gives new life to Greta Thunberg's UN speech

In the middle of a gig in Gateshead, UK, DJ Fatboy Slim surprised his audience when Greta Thunberg's voice was suddenly heard in a remix of his best known songs, Right here, right now. The audience cheered and the video of it all went viral.

The remix of Fatboy Slim's popular tech song from 1999 appeared on social media as early as September.

South African musician David Scott, with the artist name The Kiffness, had sampled parts of Greta Thunberg's spoken speech during the UN Climate Summit in New York in his version. Maybe he got the idea when he heard Thunberg's speech, where she says "Right here, right now, is where we draw the line".

In any case, the remix reached Fatboy Slim himself, who chose to play the version during his concert a few weeks later.
