On the other hand, since companies pay half of their insurance premiums, they said that “consideration for small and medium-sized enterprises with increasing burdens is necessary” and that support measures for companies should be considered together.

Currently, for a short-time worker to join the welfare pension, a company with more than 501 employees works for more than 20 hours a week and has a monthly income of more than 88,000 yen. We are studying to ease the requirements of the enterprise scale.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is considering detailed system reforms at the Social Security Council, taking into account the opinions of the ruling party, and intends to compile concrete measures within the next month.
