The journalist José Oneto died on Monday at age 77.

Born in Cádiz, he was admitted to the Quirón clinic in San Sebastián, where he was operated urgently last August for acute peritonitis, according to family sources.

With a long professional career that began in the newspaper Madrid, he was director of the magazine Tiempo for a decade and directed the information services of Antena 3, although he was best known for his participation in gatherings both on television and on radio.
