A junior high school student in Kitami, Hokkaido, played a song for “Kyo-Ani” and called for donations to support the Kyoto animation where the studio was set to fire.

At a concert held in Kitami City on the night of the 5th, members of the Minami Junior High School's instrumental club produced Kyoto animation to support the Kyoto animation in which the studio was set to fire, 36 people died, and 33 people were seriously injured. I played an anime song.

The “Crescent Moon Dance” used in the anime “Sound! Euphonium” with the theme of the brass band was shown.

Many members started to play brass music and encouraged by this anime, so they decided to discuss this song and perform this song.

Approximately 700 spectators gathered at the venue, listening to powerful performances. When the concert was over, the members held donation boxes and called on visitors to support Kyoto Animation.

Minami Junior High School Instrumental Club Director Hibiki Sano said, “I learned a lot about the fun of wind music and the difficulty of socializing. I want Kyoto Animation to make great works again.”

The collected funds will be sent to Kyoto Animation together with part of the admission fee.
