MOSCOW (Reuters) - A young Russian man ended his life after killing his two children over his wife's divorce request and suspected him of having a relationship with others.

Roman Mikhailov, 30, died at the scene with his 18-month-old son Artyom and daughter Sofia, 4, died at Saratov hospital in southwestern Russia.

The reckless husband left a message in his home before the crime, blaming the wife for what happened and that jealousy prompted him to commit his crime.

The Daily Mail said the wife, Irina, had left to pursue divorce proceedings at an office when the crime occurred.

It gave no further details.
