The football match between Valencia and Ajax was the best-watched program on Dutch television on Wednesday evening. A total of 2,128,000 viewers tuned in to Veronica for the Champions League duel won by the Amsterdam team 0-3.

The preview and after-view of the competition with Wilfred Genee, René van der Gijp and Dick Advocaat watched 864,000 and 881,000 people respectively. That was good for seventh and eighth place in the top 10 rating.

This is further dominated by the journals of 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. on NPO1 (1,917,000 and 1,335,000 viewers at places two and three) and EenVandaag (NPO1, 1,276,000) at place four. De Wereld Draait Door (NPO1, 1,133,000) and the RTL News (RTL 4, 893,000) complete the top six.

The talk show Pauw (NPO1, 767,000) and Máxima, the advocate (NPO1, 721,000) just reached the top ten, for Good Times, Bad Times (RTL 4) in position eleven with 649,000 viewers.
