The Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation announced the names of the winners of its 16th awards (2018-2019). Ali Al Owais Cultural, Bahraini researcher and activist Sheikha Mai Mohammed Al Khalifa, Cultural and Scientific Achievement Award.
The Secretary General of the Foundation, Abdul Hamid Ahmed, said that the jury awarded the awards of its 16th session to these creative writers and intellectuals, out of 1,745 candidates, the total number of applicants for the awards in this session. He added that the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Award is proud to join this group of creators in the winners' club, where their creations represented authentic values that expressed the concerns and aspirations of the Arab human being, and formed for years a conscience in the conscience of the people, and gave inspiration to the new generations for more work, knowledge and success.
