- Incels are men who meet at various forums united in strong hatred of women, and who are based on living in involuntary celibacy, says Pascal Engman when he visited SVT's Morning Study.

As research for the book, which is described as a contemporary thriller, Pascal Engman himself visited the forums where the so-called incel men gather. He believes that male loneliness, and the changing role of men of our time, have a role in why the incel movement has become so great.

- I have tried to understand where this hatred comes from: what it is for people, says Pascal Engman:

- Many men are alone, and this is where the community joins. But it becomes like a vicious spiral, because it is difficult to meet a partner if you sit in front of the computer and express hatred towards women.
