On the 21st of this month at the campsite in Doshi-mura, Yamanashi Prefecture, it is the fifth day in 25 days since the first grader's whereabouts were lost. The police and the Self-Defense Forces searched for about 300 people, but no clues were found, and the search will continue on the 26th.
Misaki Ogura (7), a first grader in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, lost his whereabouts at the “Zhuangzhuang Auto Campsite” in Doshi Village, where he visited with his family and friends on 21st of this month.
According to the police, Misaki-san chased a friend who went out to play first at the campground and lost herself. On the 25th day, the fifth day, the police and fire departments joined the Self-Defense Forces. The search was carried out with about 300 people, the most common in the world.
The Self-Defense Forces members called Misaki's name and searched for deep slopes as well as steep slopes and rock shades, but no clues were found, and the search on the 25th was suspended.
It means that the search will be carried out from early morning on the 26th on the same scale as the 25th.
Mr. Hideki Kobayashi, Director of Life Safety Division, Otsuki Police Station says, “None of the police and firefighters have given up, so we want to continue our search for protection.”
