Irina Bogacheva was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in St. Petersburg

“The burial ceremony took place at the Novodevichy Cemetery,” the agency was informed.

In the morning, a civil requiem was held in the White Foyer of the historical stage of the Mariinsky Theater, whose soloist Bogacheva has been since 1965. The funeral service took place in St. Nicholas Cathedral.

The singer died on September 19 at the 81st year of life.
