The comedy " Fleabag " and the mini series " Chernobyl " dominated with three prizes for the first half of the Emmy, which is being held this morning in Los Angeles (USA).

Waller-Bridge also won recognition for the best comedy script for "Fleabag" while teammate Harry Bradbeer won the best director award for the same television production.

For his part, Bill Hader signed his second consecutive Emmy to the best male performer of a comedy for his role as a hitman involved in "Barry" actor.

Tony Shalhoub took the Emmy for best supporting actor in a comedy for "The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel", while his partner in the same series Alex Borstein won the award for best supporting actress.

In addition, the Latin Jharrel Jerome got the Emmy for the best actor of a film or television series for his role in "Thus they see us", while Michelle Williams obtained recognition for the best actress for "Fosse / Verdon".

Also, Patricia Arquette won the Emmy for best supporting actress in a limited series or television movie for "The Act" and Ben Whishaw was crowned as best supporting actor in the same category for "A very English scandal."

The distinction to the best competitive program was for "RuPaul's Drag Race", while the award for the best film for the small screen was won by "Bandersnatch (Black Mirror)".

The 71 edition of the Emmy is being held this morning at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles through a gala that, following the trail of the Oscars, does not have a master of ceremonies.
