In conjunction with the anniversary of the passing of 1054 years since the death of the poet, Abu Tayeb Al Mutanabi, the poetry encyclopedia in the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, today, a cultural and poetic symposium on his life and poetry, in Manarat Saadiyat.

The symposium, which commemorates his death on September 23, 965, under the slogan «Mutanabbi: is still full of the world and the concern of the people», a window to retrieve the glories of Mutanabbi, one of the most famous Arab poets.

The symposium will be attended by UAE writer Jamal Matar, who has published a book about Mutanabbi entitled “One Lord is Enough” and a member of the faculty of the University of Jordan, Dr. Mufleh Al-Hwaitat, who has published a book about Mutanabbi entitled “Poetic Conflict: A Textual Approach in Mutanabbi Poetry”.
