The Asia-Pacific kicked off Friday, September 20, the "Friday for Future" planetary intended to increase the pressure on policy makers and businesses, to take drastic measures to curb the rise in temperatures caused by human activities.

Joining the movement initiated in the summer of 2018 by the young Swede Greta Thunberg, thousands of young protesters from around the world boycotted classrooms for this highly symbolic "global climate strike", culminating in a freak demonstration in New York, where will be held Monday an international summit on climate.

In a video message, the 16-year-old Swedish activist on Thursday called for the children to mobilize. "Everything counts, what you count," said the one that has become the symbol of a younger generation convinced that its elders do not do enough to fight against global warming.
