Screen is Odawara Castle Projection Mapping International Convention September 20, 11:52

Before the international projection mapping tournament, set in Odawara Castle in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, started on the 20th, works from all over the world were released.

This international competition, which began in 2012, competes for charm by projecting a 1-minute video with music on a wall.

This was the first time in the world that the castle was screened, and this time there were 177 entries from 43 countries and regions, the largest number ever.

Twenty works that won the first round of screening are scheduled to be screened every day at the convention, and some of them were released to the media on the evening of the 19th before the opening.

Among them, the work of the Japanese team drew the life of the late Bakumatsu thinker, Shoin Yoshida, and expressed the taste and faintness of Japanese along with the grand piano solo.

In addition, the work of the Thai team draws Mt. Fuji, Takashi and eggplant in various colors with the motif of "First Dream".

The tournament will be held for 4 days from the 20th to the 23rd, and will be broadcast on the Internet on the 22nd when the public screening is held.

“I want you to look for works that you like while enjoying the differences and personality of creators around the world,” said Ikuta Ikuta, who is a general producer.
