According to the Roshydromet website, the weather forecasters’ analysis “allows with a probability of 67-69% to conclude that in general for six months of the cold half-year in most of the territory of Russia, the temperature background is expected to be above and above average multi-year values”.

It is noted that the accuracy of forecasts of Roshydromet regarding temperature in the cold season over the past 19 years was in the range of 58 - 81%.
