Before becoming a popular performer, Kai Metov went through a serious school of musical training: during his years in the army, he led a vocal-instrumental ensemble, after demobilization he played in musical groups and studied the basics of sound engineering and arrangement. Fame brought Metov released in 1993 debut album Position No. 2 with the same hit. The musician’s success was strengthened by the singles “Remember Me”, “I feel good with you” and “Ticket”, as well as the song “Tea Rose”, written for the duet of Philip Kirkorov and Masha Rasputina. However, Metov can boast of achievements not only in the musical field: he received a legal and then acting education, became an academician of the International Academy of Culture and Art. September 19, Honored Artist of Russia Kai Metov celebrates his 55th birthday.
