More "entrepreneur" than artist

Like Alexandre Dumas, one of his favorite writers, Alexis Michalik is not only a writer. He is best known for his work at the theater. "I have many other trades and I do not have all the time and the free spirit to write, so I wrote Far away while I was doing other shows, often when I was traveling, in filming, for example, "says the actor, who sees himself" more as an entrepreneur than as an artist ".

If he likes to take on new challenges, Alexis Michalik sometimes gets caught up in passion. A few years ago, this thirst for creation led him straight to burn-out. "It happened just after my first Molières (in 2014 ed.) I was half shooting half of the Avignon Festival One morning, I woke up, I was tired and I could not do anything I stayed like that for months, "recalls Alexis Michalik.

Alexis Michalik has thus "learned to take vacations" to be able to go back on the stage as soon as possible. And this rest bore fruit: Edmond , his last piece, which tells the story of Edmond Rostand, then received five Molières.
