According to JR East, on the 16th of November, on the Yamanote Line, the section from Osaki Station to Ueno Station via Tokyo Station will be suspended on November 16th, in order to carry out track switching work in preparation for opening. .

The driving will take place from Osaki Station to Ueno Station via Ikebukuro Station, which is about 70% of the normal number.

The Keihin Tohoku Line will be closed all day between Shinagawa Station and Tamachi Station.

Along with this, in addition to increasing the number of Ueno Tokyo Line and Saikyo Line, it will carry out transfer transportation on Tokyo Metro, Toei Subway, Rinkai Line, Tokyu Line, and Keikyu Line.

According to JR East, this is the first time that the Yamanote Line has been suspended for construction since the company was established.
