The pioneers of social networking sites, finally, circulated pictures of the most important stars of Egyptian cinema, including Adel Imam, Sherihan, Hussein Fahmi, Mervat Amin, Younis and others, through which they meet themselves at an early age in an influential art project.
These pictures were titled "Throwback", or go back in time. It is a project launched by one of the Egyptian graphic designers, Mohamed Gaber, and published widely on social media.
The project, completed by Egyptian graphic designer Mohamed Gaber, includes impressive footage showing the impact of time on some Egyptian movie stars. He brought each artist together with himself at the beginning of his career in a single image, bringing together the past and the present to the generation of "great" as described by the project owner.
It took the project "Throwback" nearly three months until Jaber was able to find appropriate pictures of artists at different ages.
In selecting the actors, Jaber relied on the availability of high-quality images in consistent colors. It was also adopted on an interactive basis between the two images, not just collected.
The project has had positive repercussions and unexpected outreach, as social media pioneers, particularly on Instagram, have widely circulated these images.
Also, some of the artists who have these pictures re-published in their accounts on the social networking site, including the artist Asaad Younis.
