According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, after 3 pm on the 15th, a new Chinese Coast Guard vessel entered the waters just outside the Japanese territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture. A total of four ships are navigating within the connected waters.
The four vessels are navigating approximately 29 to 32 kilometers northwest of Kuba Island in the Senkaku Islands as of 9:00 am on the 16th, so the Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor the territorial waters.
