Emirates Airline Festival of Literature has announced the return of the Chevron Cup Readership Competition, which gives school students the opportunity to compete and enhance knowledge, through selected books to participate in the competition.

The competition is open to students enrolled in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The competition aims to promote a culture of reading and instill love for generations for life, she said. 4-9 February.

It is noteworthy that the festival also opened for registration to participate in the competitions «Oxford University House for printing and publishing to write the story», and the prize «Education» poetry, within the theme of this year «tomorrow» until the sixth of next October.

The Chevron Cup consists of two age groups, one comprising the primary stage (up to the age of 11) and the secondary stage (12-16 years). Teams compete to read the books chosen by the Emirates Airline Festival, and are usually the work of the participants of the festival. Sixteen teams are selected for the finals, competing for first place in the qualifiers organized during the festival.

More than 3,000 students attended the Chevron Readers' Cup.
