"Police Call 110" Munich: As in the 70's porn

2019-09-15T20:02:14.576Z

The new Munich "police call" with Verena Altenberger dares a trip to the realm of the subconscious. He dares a lot at all. That will not please everyone.

Such a start you have to dare in the ARD Sunday night thriller for the first time: with a cute cat, a disheveled boy amIsar shore, the camera shows from behind, when he leans down to the cat in the river, well, what - to wash? Drown?

And against the background that the ARD Sunday evening is nowhere as hard as the people who joke on Twitter. The Netzaficionadas, whose favorite animal is the cat, to set such a scene - that will have provided for joy. Would say a fun bird.

But the new Munich police call trusts anyway to the debut of Verena Altenberger as Commissioner Elisabeth "Bessie" Eyckhoff in the wake of Matthias Brandts merveillösem Meuffels anyway. The place from which the clouds come (BR-Redaktion: Cornelia Ackers) is a film that will incur much bad luck of people who like to enjoy watching TV as well as the three-part Assietteessen.

This starts with the fact that there is no corpse for a long time, but in the ARD Sunday night thriller usually sets action in motion. There is only this disheveled, socially dysfunctional boy, who barely speaks because he can not speak, and when he says his name, one is not smart: Polou (very good: Dennis Doms).

The film, which wants to be a thriller, after finding and accommodating Polou busy for a long time to get the boy to talk. Because there is a suspicion that he might have escaped a life-threatening situation in which other children are still stuck. To find possible clues for such a dungeon, the accompanying doctor (Katja Bürkle) comes up with an idea that the woman from the youth welfare office (Anja Schiffel) does not like, but with the help of Bessie Eyckhoff is enforced: hypnosis.

The place from which the clouds come staged the excursion into the realm of the unconscious without Klimbim (directed by Florian Schwarz). To gain more precise insights, the next time the Superintendent arrives one floor below, "And then I try to synchronize them both," says the doctor.

Whatever the case may be: with this slightly erroneous idea, the police call opens up narrative new terrain. On the one hand it goes backwards in Polous history, on the other hand forward in the direction of resolution of the case. For even what the spectator wants for the finale, takes place in the hypnosis - which is perhaps only to notice at first, that the sun of the unreal through the windows of the car radiates. Bessie Eyckhoff and her co-worker and half-brother Cem (Cem Lukas Yeginer) headed to Switzerland because there is the dungeon, a magnificent concrete villa in which a German arms dealer sired several children with his daughter, including Polou.

For friends of so-called realism, the place from which the clouds come will be a huge junk. But the film works, the guesswork around Polou, in which the boy acts as the medium of a criminal case, is thrilling and acts like a metaphor, like a pile of old files that must be read correctly to find the secret hidden within.
