As a first assessment. Already 20 years of career for the singer Jeanne Cherhal who releases a new album, the year 40 , she who has just turned 41 years old. In L' Equipée sauvage on Europe 1, the artist confides the feeling that accompanied him throughout the making of this album.
"I felt so free doing this album"
"I felt so free in making this album," says Jeanne Cherhal, "I was at the end of that feeling," she claims. First in song, taking "things that I would not evoke in life, nor in interview". For example, the song Sixty-nine that directly evokes the sexual position. "I have no problem writing or singing it," says the singer, "I do not put any taboos in song."
Liberty, Jeanne Cherhal has also grown on the cover of the album where she poses naturally, armpits not depilées. "The beauty of a woman is also that: do not necessarily be niquel," says the author of Voilà . "It is important to say it today and to leave the diktat imposed by the female press in particular", adds the artist. A "celebration of imperfection", totally assumed.
