INTERVIEW

In Deux moi , the new film by Cédric Klapisch, we follow two thirty-year-olds in search of love (François Civil and Ana Girardot) and who live ill their loneliness. Both consult a psychologist. François Berléand thus plays the role of the analyst of François Civil. With Anne Roumanoff Wednesday, it returns on its character and evokes the duet of actors who holds the main roles.

"We often drop our heads when things are not right"

"Of course, we will not say bad things about the film when we do the promo, but for once, it's really a very nice film," says François Berléand as a preamble. On Europe 1 already, the director Cédric Klapisch indicated that with Deux Moi , he had wanted to "advertise the real", at a time when the world is more and more connected. The feature film carries within it this morality of happiness at hand. "We often drop our heads when things are not going well and we do not look around enough," adds François Berléand.

"I saw a lot of psychologists, psychiatrists and psychoanalysts"

Symbolic fun, François Berléand is a psychiatrist in the film, he assumes to have consulted a lot. "I've seen a lot of psychologists, psychiatrists and psychoanalysts," he says, "I think I can analyze and analyze," the actor laughs. For the first time, he toured with François Civil. "I think he's amazing. (...) It's an actor who has bluffed me," he says, "Ana too, but it turns out that all my scenes are with François."
