The Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Academy (DFA) stressed the importance of enhancing the role of the Academy as an integrated laboratory for future education, an incubator for the best minds and talents, and a center for developing successful experiences and practices. During its first meeting, the Board reviewed the Academy's current and future programs and plans of action, and stressed the importance of concerted efforts and enhanced cooperation with government and private entities inside and outside the UAE, contributing to the achievement of the goals of the Academy by preparing a generation of leaders and innovators, and enabling them to design the future of vital sectors.

The Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, Sarah Bint Yousef Al-Amiri, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Sultan Al-Ulama, Deputy CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, Abdulaziz Al-Jaziri, President of Northeastern University in Boston, Dr. Joseph Aoun, and founder of Odacity Stanford University professor Dr. Sebastian Throne, former author and diplomat Tom Fletcher, CEO of Innovation, UAE University Assistant Professor, Dr. Khawla Al Kaabi, and founder of Aramex, chairman of Wamda Capital, Fadi Ghandour.

Participants discussed a number of proposals for educational programs and training courses, which will be launched by the Academy during the coming period, as part of its continuing efforts to prepare talents for vital sectors, in Dubai, the UAE and the region.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Future Foundation, said that the Academy is working to keep pace with the rapid change in various vital sectors, which will have a direct impact on future jobs, so it has implemented scientific programs that contribute to a radical change in the powers of the powers. Human development, skills development, experience formation and knowledge enrichment, to create a generation capable of keeping abreast of future developments, and meet their challenges.
