Free phone consultation on "World Suicide Prevention Day" September 10th 11:39

The 10th is WHO = “World Suicide Prevention Day” set by the World Health Organization. There are free telephone consultations that are closely linked to the problems of working people.

This telephone consultation was started on the 10th by the Japan Industrial Counselors Association in conjunction with the World Suicide Prevention Day. As a “worker telephone consultation room”, we provide free telephone consultations at 19 locations nationwide.

Among them, at the venue in Chuo-ku, Osaka, 8 o'clock industrial counselors listened to various problems related to workplace relationships and working environments.

According to the National Police Agency, the number of suicides in the last year exceeded 20,000 nationwide, of which, in Osaka Prefecture, it was 1275, an increase of more than 70 from the previous year.

Junko Takemoto, general manager of the Kansai branch of the Japan Industrial Counselor Association, said, “There are many consultations from people in their 40s and 50s who are working hard, and there are cases where people are being psychologically driven by power harassment and unfair dismissal. I ’d like you to consult us first without having to worry about it. ”
