The opera singer Plácido Domingo is accused of exploiting her position and systematically sexually harassed women.
Since the charges were discovered in mid-August, more women have come forward and testified about the abuse, including Domingo's former colleague Angela Turner Wilson.
The union is launching an investigationThe charges shake the opera world to the extent that the trade union AGMA is now launching its own investigation into the charges, Billboard reports.
This is due to the fact that, when the charges were discovered in August, the union asked companies and institutions that Plácido Domingo worked to further investigate the allegations at the respective workplace.
AGMA states that one is not satisfied with the result and thus makes its own investigation.
Plácido Domingo himself denies the charges. The opera star has been canceled from a number of jobs since the news was published.
