In a first-of-its-kind incident, a forensic doctor in a British province announced the death of a suicide woman for fear of the consequences of Brexit.


France's Marie-Louise Davis, 76, lived in Britain with her English husband, Peter 74, for nearly 50 years. She was planning to return home with her, but she was worried about the Brexit and its impact on her plans to return home.


The forensic doctor in the county of "Gloucestershire" English that Davis committed suicide for a variety of reasons, including suffering "depression" and the death of the family pet and fear of Brexit, according to the newspaper "Daily Mail" Britain.


The doctor explained that Davis has a history of depression, and recently suffered from pneumonia weakened her mobility, and she was deeply saddened by the death of her pet, as well as fear of Brexit, noting that all factors led to suicide.


Davis left her home on March 18 and disappeared for two days until her body was found submerged in a flooded field.


After a criminal investigation, the district judge declared her suicide by drowning.
